Group Meetings
We have been meeting every 2 weeks on a Wednesday evening at the White Hart.
Minutes of the latest steering group meeting can be seen on our forum.
Sub groups
We intend to be involved within the local community. From amongst our group people are starting to tackle various issues. Subgroups have formed and you can contact them via the forum. You can click on the subgroup name to visit them on the forum.
Growth Point – We are intending to put our views forward as part of the planning process so if you have a something to say on the subject please free to add a comment on the forum.
Wind Turbines – this group has met. Discussion was triggered by having seen a very good presentation from the Hockerton Housing project who have 2 turbines on their site. You can see an extract from the talk on our forum.
Food – a group of us are involved in a local project called smilesnewark.
Recycling - This group is also up and running. You should be able to read about them soon on our forum..
