Newark Transition (NT) is a voluntary group working in the best interests of ALL the community, regardless of age, ethnicity, gender and all other groupings. We therefore hope our working membership will reflect this inclusivity.
All information captured within this form is confidential only, to be used only by the steering group when seeking out people with particular skills, knowledge or time to give to the group and to establish where we have unrepresented groups, or skills and knowledge gaps.
All questions asked within this form are optional, but the more information you can give us the better equipped we will be to maximise our impact. We simply want to know who we can call on, what for and when. However, by saying you can do something does not commit you to do it; there may be several people with similar skills and of course you can always change your mind or say “no thanks, not this time”.
Everybody providing contact details will be given regular updates on the progress of NT and offered an opportunity to contribute to the group at some point in the future. Depending on the number of responses we may not be in touch immediately. We are a voluntary group, many with jobs and/or children, and our time is limited! Thank you for your patience.

TRANSITION TOWNS SUBGROUPS

In the future it is anticipated that NT will form sub-groups to work on specific areas to be addressed in terms of peak oil and climate change. Please let us know which, if any, of these groups you would most like to be part of. If would also help if you could tell us why. Please feel free to select more than one if you have interests in more than one!
